Michelle Cooper has more than 30 years’ experience as a consultant, coach, facilitator and trainer. She has worked with a broad spectrum of organizations including government, health care, education and not-for-profit organizations. Her expertise is grounded in real world progressive leadership positions and continuous learning and development. Michelle specializes in executive and manager coaching and career coaching. Michelle is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing at McMaster University in Hamilton.
Michelle is an ontological coach who brings a holistic, adult development perspective that grows clients’ awareness of ways of doing and being. The goal is to promote vertical as well as horizontal development. She supports clients to develop their creative competencies to lead effectively and authentically and to create the conditions for teamwork that enable their organizations and the individuals within to succeed and thrive in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
Michelle holds a BScN, MScN (Administration). She is a Newfield Certified Coach (Ontological Coaching) and International Coach Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She has a certificate in the Art of Developmental Coaching and Neuroscience of Change. Michelle is a Certified Practitioner at The Leadership Circle and authorized to administer and debrief The Leadership Circle Profiles™ (TLC 360) and Collective Leadership Assessment™ (LCS). She is certified to provide EQi-2.0 and Personalized Management Coaching (PMC) as well as other assessment instruments and tools.
