Each of our Board members signs the Chapter Leader pledge as a commitment to ICF Professional Coaches and the ICF Chapters. This pledge is our commitment to you.
As an ICF Chapter Leader (a voting Chapter board member), I play a valuable and important role in representing ICF around the world. An ICF Chapter Leader is defined as an ICF Member in good standing, acting in an elected or appointed, voluntary role for an ICF Chapter.
As an ICF Chapter Leader, I serve as a best-practice role model, exemplifying ICF core values, ICF ethics, standards, policies, and brand.
This Chapter Leader Pledge outlines the performance of duties, standards of behavior and expectations of all ICF Chapter Leaders and to set expectations prior to assuming any leadership position.
To ensure compliance with applicable laws and to protect the International Coaching Federation Professional Coaches Family Organization (ICF PC FO) and ICF Chapters, as well as their respective members, officers, directors and committee members from potential legal problems regarding conflicts of interest and violation of fiduciary obligations to the organization they serve, I endorse and adopt the following statement of policy.
