Redmond, Kathleen

Founder of the Centre for Character Leadership, Kathleen Redmond is a certified Executive Coach (ICF), trainer, author and instructor of the University of Guelph’s MA Leadership Program.

With a passion for leadership communication and over 25 years of management experience, Kathleen works in the heart of industry. From Istanbul to Honolulu, to factories in the southern United States, and to the oil fields of Alberta, Kathleen has worked with leaders to strengthen engagement and results through authentic communication. Kathleen’s focus is supporting leaders as coaches of their team.

Her first book, Rules of Engagement for Communicating at Work: 5 Strategies for Decreasing Conflict and Increasing Collaboration was published in 2004. Her second book, Leadership by Engagement: Leading Through Authentic Character to Attract, Retain and Energize was launched in 2008. Her third and fourth books, Building a Character Culture and Communicating in a Character Culture are now available. She has been published in the Globe and Mail, Municipal World and other periodicals.
