Expanding Your Coaching Practice Globally: Mistakes and Lessons Learnt the Hard Way

With Jean-François Cousins, MCC

Jean-François Cousins became a global executive coach in 2006, in the wake of a management career around the world with a Fortune-500 company. By June 2018, he had clocked 10,000 coaching hours, served over 800 executives and dozens of executive teams, travelling to 35 countries / 5 continents to work with them.

Jean-François serves on the Global Board of the International Coach Federation Professional Coaches, and was the Chairman of ICF Global Board in 2019.

He authored the book Game Changers at the Circus—How Leaders Can Unleash Greatness in Their Organizations, coauthored several other books and regularly writes columns for the media.

As a humorous conversation-starter, Jean-François Cousin, MCC, will share about his rather hectic beginnings as a coach as well as his many mistakes, and derive eight practical tips to grow a coaching practice in a smoother way than he did. Then he will invite experience-sharing and cross-fertilization among participants, so that everyone gains new practical ideas to invigorate their business development and heighten their chances of success with potential clients.

Jean-François will also offer pointers and ignite a discussion about what it takes to develop a coaching practice on a global scale.
